Austin, Texas
Our first market. Every figure on this page comes from the current Austin qualification cycle, run on issued permit records from the City of Austin open data portal. Other markets open only after their data passes the same checks; the city search on the home page shows what is in preparation.
Latest 30-day run of the qualification engine on City of Austin records.
How Austin projects are classified
Every project carries one class, and the class says only what the record supports. No class claims that any scope of work is unfilled.
Class A GC-led
A general contractor is named on the building permit. These are the projects where you know exactly who is running the job and who hires the trades.
Class B Trade or applicant led
No general contractor of record. A trade party or the applicant is named instead, which often means the project is being run without a GC, or the GC is simply not on the record.
Class C Watchlist
No contractor or applicant is named yet. These are the thinnest records we publish, so their record confidence is capped and they are labeled as watchlist items, useful for watching a project rather than chasing it today.
Mapped from real Austin permit scope
These trades are mapped from the scope text of Austin permits in the current cycle. Implied trades are PermitScope inference from that scope text, and they are labeled as inference on every project card in every report.
Real reports, built from this cycle’s records
The general sample and the weekly digest preview are generated from live records by the same engine that builds subscriber digests. The trade samples below were prepared for specific Austin trades from the same data.

A permit is evidence that a project exists. It is not a guarantee of available work, an unfilled contract, or an invitation to contact anyone. Projects are never exclusive to any subscriber. Verify scope and timing with the named party before acting. Status: PermitScope is in pre-launch. Registration is a launch waitlist; digest delivery has not started yet, and no paid subscriptions are being accepted yet.
